Total Earnings Update For The Month Of January 2011!
February 6th, 2011
So it’s the beginning of a new year, and we’re already in the second month of 2011! It’s SuperBowl Sunday, and since I have no interest in football what so ever, I decided that it’s no better time to do some online work.
Today I’ll like to calculate my total earnings for the month of January.
Last month I closed off the year with an impressive $746.93! Did I top that in January 2011? I’m not sure but let’s find out.
Cashcrate: $33.27
GlobalTestMarket: $51.50
Squishy Cash: $43.90
Dollar Click or Sign Up$22.53
Deal Barbie Pays: $16.56
Swagbucks: $10
Zoombucks: $20
AppRedeem: $1.15
Squidoo: $11.37
YouData: $3.97
Pinecone Research: $6
Cloud Crowd: $0.01
MaxBounty: $391.34
Logical Media: $139.45
Private Advertising: $52.25
Total Earnings For January: $803.30!
This is the most I’ve ever made in a month I believe! I’m still aiming for that $1000 mark that I haven’t yet been able to hit, but with moving to my own hosting this month, and trying to work a bit harder on this blog this year, hopefully I hit it soon!
Needless to say I’m super happy and satisfied with my earnings for the month of January. Hopefully I can keep up this pace even though February is a short month.
But I think I’ve already accomplished a major goal this month, just by getting this blog on my own hosting. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a very long time!
If you’re interested in making money online in your spare time, it’s never to late to start a journey of your own!

New Ways To Make Money On Cashcrate!
February 5th, 2011

They’ve introduced a new feature where you can get paid to “check-in” to Cashcrate.com! That’s right, just for being a member and logging into the site everyday, you can earn $0.03 on a daily basis just by clicking a button and checking in! Yes, I know this is not some huge amount, but if you do this every single day, at the end of the month, you’ll have about $0.90 extra! Payout on Cashcrate, is set at a minimum of $20. So doing only this and expecting to cash out from the site will take you a little more than 22months, or a year and 10 months. But if you already take part in all the great ways Cashcrate offers to make money online, such as taking offers or surveys, playing games, participating in contests, or utilizing the referral program, then paid check-ins is just another way to boost your income!
Here’s how it works, by the way.
On logging into Cashcrate.com, and just scrolling down a bit, you’ll see to the extreme right, a little box that says how much you’ve earned so far for that particular month. The Check In Button will be right under that, like in the image below.

Click the Check-In Button and a pop up screen will open like the one below.

Click on “Check In & View This Offer”. A new window will open up with the offer, which you can complete and earn some money on Cashcrate, and your balance will be credited with $0.03 for checking in!
Another awesome feature Cashcrate just launched, is the ability to get paid to watch videos online! This feature has been very popular with the members of the site, as it is a very easy and fun way to earn some cash!
After logging into the site, you’ll see a new Tab called Videos on the main page.

Click on the Videos tab, and it should take you to a short “qualification survey”. Here you’ll fill out a short evaluation which will determine which videos you fit the category to view. Then, on finishing that evaluation, you’ll be taken to any videos you qualify to view.

The video should start automatically playing. While this is an easy way to earn by watching commercials or movie trailers, or other videos online, don’t think for a second that you can just walk away from your computer, or open a new tab, and let the video run without paying attention to it! During the video, there will be two digits that flash on the screen at various times. At the end of the video, you’ll have a few seconds or so to enter and submit those two digits. If you get them correct, you earn the $0.02 for watching the video. If not, you have the option of playing the video again, where two different digits will be flashed.
Again, you probably shouldn’t depend on getting paid to watch videos on Cashcrate as the only way to make payout because it would take you a VERY long time.
But these new features are just a few easy and fun ways to earn a little extra while participating on the site.
Here’s my 24th payment from Cashcrate, which I received early last month.

^Click on image for larger view, opens in a new window.
This payment brings my total earnings online to $12,299.04!
For the past week or so, I’ve been busy working on transferring this blog from Blogger to WordPress. I talked about everything from which hosting company I thought was best, to how I actually did the transfer, but today I’d like to go back to what this blog is mainly about; and that’s making money online free!
I’m going to post a screenshot of my Paypal account from January 13th, to January 31st, 2011… which is where I left off when it comes to posting payment proofs.

^Click on the image for a larger view, it opens in a new window.
As you can see, I got 2 payments from Pinecone Research which adds up to $6.
I received my MaxBounty payment which was $391.34, probably one of my biggest, if not THE biggest one yet!
YouData paid me 3 times, a total of $3.60.
Swagbucks sent me 2 PayPal gift cards that I requested a while back, a total of $10.
I received a payment from Dollar Click or Sign Up for $22.53.
The $47.75 you’re seeing came from a private client that purchased advertising here on my blog. His name is blacked out for privacy reasons.
AppRedeem paid me twice for a total of $1.
I got a penny, $0.01, fromCloud Crowd. I guess that came from referral earnings because I haven’t done any work there in a long time.
And last but not least, Squishy Cash sent me a payment for $33.46!
Besides, PayPal, I get paid in various other ways as well, and one of those ways is via Amazon Gift Cards. I really like these because I shop a lot on Amazon.com, and I like their feature of having a “balance”, so I usually just add the codes to my balance until I find something I want to purchase.
One of the sites that pay me via Amazon gift cards is Zoombucks, which is a site just like Swagbucks in that they pay you to search online, (along with other things as well).
You can read a full review of how it works at Sites Like Swagbucks.
Anyway, here’s a screen shot of my Zoombucks account.

As you can see, I got paid 4 times already from Zoombucks; the last two payments done in January on the 14th and 26th. That’s a total of $20. And I have two more payments requested as well!
Zoombucks has turned out to be a big earner for me since I joined!
Also… that check I mentioned a while ago for $51.50 from GlobalTestMarket came in the mail this month. Here’s a picture of it. Click on the images if you’d like a full view.

This payment from GlobalTestMarket came SOLELY from me doing surveys. A lot of people sometimes comment on my blog saying, “well all the money you make come from referrals, how can I make money without referrals?” If you’re one of those people that think like this, then consider doing surveys for money as a means of earning cash on the internet. Even though this money didn’t take me a week or a month to make, I can tell you that regardless of how long it took, when I got that check in the mail… it definitely made my day!
Little by little, you can do surveys online in your spare time, and earn extra cash just like I did. If you’re looking for more information on GlobalTestMarket, then you can read GlobalTestMarket Survey Panel: Scam Or Legit for my complete review of this site.
So as you can see, all these sites are legit and do in fact pay! If you’d like more info on any of these sites, just use the search function within my blog and you’ll find what you’re looking for!
If you have questions about anything, please do ask. I am very open about the money I make on the internet and where exactly it comes from. I will try my best to answer everyone.
These payments add up to a total of $587.19 and bring my total earnings online to $12,266.53!
Kudos to me for hitting the $12k mark!

Are You On My Blogroll? A Few Updates.
February 1st, 2011
Just a few quick updates!
1. I went through my blog and edited all the permalinks so that they are now the same as the ones I had previously on Blogger. I read that there were a few WordPress plugins to do this, but in my case, I think it was a bit different, because I had custom permalinks that I created on Blogger. They weren’t all matched to the postname. Either way, I manually edited and fixed all 400 of my posts. They should all be working now and hopefully, I did it quickly enough so that it doesn’t affect my Google Rank.
2. I also got back Google Adsense up and running again on my blog.
3. I still cannot access the URLs to the blogs that were on my blog roll. I can only see the names. If you are one of the following people that were on my Blogger blog roll, please contact me again so that I can add you to my WordPress blogroll.

How To Transfer Blogger Blog To WordPress?
January 30th, 2011
So I am finally able to say that Make Money Online Free is no longer a freely hosted blog. I am now using my own hosting, via HostGator. But if things look a little different, you’re not going crazy.
I did in fact have to switch over from Blogger to WordPress in order to apply the hosting.
The support team at HostGator who were supposed to do the switch for me, replied to my support ticket and said that Blogger (blogspot) does not provide any kind of FTP access to their servers and that I’d have to switch over to WordPress in order to get the hosting working.
Imagine how stressed I was! This was the exact thing I had been fearing in the beginning!
I spent the entire day today, from the minute I finished having breakfast, to now… 9PM at night, trying to figure out how to switch over everything from Blogger to WordPress. It was definitely no easy task. Seemed like everywhere I looked, I read different instructions on how to do this.
I know there are a few friends out there who are trying to do the same thing I have just done, so I will attempt to give some instructions on how I went about doing it, and hope it helps some of you!
2. Then I logged into my HostGator account, and used the Fantastico De Luxe software provided by HostGator, to install WordPress on my blog.
3. I was then able to go to my ‘domain.com/wp-admin.php’ and log into my WordPress Dashboard.
4. I then had to log into my Blogger.com dashboard, and go to Settings> Publishing and switch my publishing from my own domain, to the blogspot domain.
5. Then, I went into Tools> Import > Blogger and followed the directions to complete the import.
I’m happy to say that the import was successful and all 400 of my old posts and my 982 comments were all transferred!
However there are a few downsides to the switch:
1. My Blogger blogroll wasn’t transferred. Therefore, all the people that I linked to in my blogroll has been lost. If you were one of these people, please contact me so that I can add your link to my new blogroll here on WordPress!
2. Most of my permalinks are now different. This affects me GREATLY! While my main URL ranks highly for it’s keywords on Google, there are also several of my individual posts that rank highly as well! Now with the permalink being changed, these links would no longer work. If there is anyone out there that knows how I can fix this, please comment and help. I’d greatly appreciate it!
3. I’m still in the process of tweaking the look of my blog. I definitely want to keep the same “pink” theme, since that’s sort of like a trademark for me… but obviously I cannot get the same exact layout as I had on Blogger, so I’m in the process of trying my best to get something similar. Be patient with me.
That’s about it for now. It’s pretty late and my retinas are burnt out from figuring out this whole thing. So I’ll try to do a bit more tomorrow or later in the week. I’m hoping this whole switch doesn’t affect my SERP ranking in general, but I guess we’ll see how that goes.
Goodnight folks!

Here’s what I did to transfer my Blogger blog to WordPress in order to use Self Hosting:
1. Change the NameServers on wherever you purchased your domain. For me, this was Godaddy. My nameservers were previously pointing to Blogger. I changed them to HostGator’s nameservers which I got in the “New Account Info” email sent by HostGator.2.
Make Money Online Free Is Going To Be Self Hosted On HostGator.com!
January 27th, 2011
It’s another Snow Day here in New York! We’re buried in about 10 to 15 inches of snow throughout the 5 boroughs and all the schools are closed… which means, I’m off from work since I work for a teacher!
I apologize for not posting and updating in a while, but life becomes hectic sometimes. I’m sure you know this. However, it doesn’t mean I’ve stopped making money online! I have several payment proofs to post, and I hope to get to it in a few minutes, but I have some big news to share!
I have FINALLY grown some balls and purchased a hosting plan for this blog; Make Money Online Free!
It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a very long time, and with the recent surge of people losing their blogger blogs, I decided it was about time.
At least 5 people that I know around the blogger-sphere, has recently woken up one day and found their blog gone! Vanished completely! All their hard work, down the drain.
I’ve even been in contact with a couple of them, one (ebele) who was lucky to contact Google (who owns Blogger.com) and get her blog back, but another who was not so much.
The response he got was the following:
This definitely scared me!
I have put a TON of work into this blog over the past two years, and I’m not ready for all that hard work to go down the drain, especially, since this blog now makes me a decent passive income every month without doing much.
How To Purchase And Set Up Hosting For A Blogger Blog?
This was the question that prevented me from purchasing and using hosting before. I say.. “and using”, because I have indeed purchased hosting before from GoDaddy, but was NEVER able to set it up. Even after calling their customer service numerous times, I wasn’t able to get much help with setting up my blog and I was only getting talked into circles. I heard a few times that it wasn’t possible to set up hosting on a Blogger blog, that I would need to first transfer everything to WordPress.
Whether this is true or not, I still have no clue.
But I’ve found a solution to my problem.
On researching hosting companies, I found HostGator.com, which I’ve heard of before and I’m sure you probably have too. They are one of the biggest and most popular hosting companies out there!
They currently have a promotion going on where you get 20% off using the coupon code SPRING.
I was able to purchase hosting from HostGator, for this blog, for 1 year … for a total of just about $66.
Now, I’m not sure of your budget or how serious you are about making money online with your blog or website, but for me, I CANNOT afford to lose everything so this price to pay is worth it.
The reason I chose HostGator, is because it was the lowest hosting plan I could come across, with plans starting at $4.95 per month!
Another reason is because they offer FREE TRANSFER OF YOUR BLOG!
That’s right.
I filled out the form and completely eliminated the headache of having to transfer everything myself, because HostGator will now take care of that part and send me an email when my blog is all set up on it’s own hosting.
*Fingers crossed* that this goes well, but I’ve contacted them via phone about 3 times in the past hour or so, and got excellent customer service, so I’m confident in their abilities, and happy that I don’t have to do the work myself.
So if you’re one of those people that were considering purchasing your own hosting for a while now, HostGator, is definitely a company to check out!
I’m sure it will take me a little time to get use to my new control panel after everything has been set up, so if you don’t see me posting for a while, that could be why.
But I can tell you that my mind has been never felt more at ease than it is right now, knowing that after my blog is transferred from Blogger’s hosting, it can never be deleted for ‘spam’.

“Sorry, but “(removed for privacy reasons)” will not be restored. It was confirmed as spam. Blogger suggests that you read the TOS.So apparantly, they’re really cracking down on blogs that contain “content and links referencing Affiliate / GPT / PTC / PTS activity, etc.)”

Here’s what we’re seeing, with a lot of the confirmed spam blogs, right now. Maybe this will help to explain your problem.

(Please note that blogs are removed not only for hosting spam, but for potential TOS violations such as Copyright Infringement, linking to websites which provide illegal downloads, little to no unique content, scraped content / auto blogging, large blogs with multiple, unfocused / unrelated subjects, content and links referencing Affiliate / GPT / PTC / PTS activity, etc.)”
This definitely scared me!
